These free and fee-based educational resources are designed to primarily prepare the African Americans in your corporation, school, church, or government organization to identify individuals with mental illness and connect them to the help they need.  All proceeds are invested into providing EMNS Services to indigent individuals and families.

NO MORE SECRETS is a 2 day symposium aimed at combating mental health stigma in local communities of color. 

Workshop Topics Include:

  • Parenting minority children

  • Substance abuse

  • Sexual assault/domestic violence

  • Depression/suicide

  • Racial microaggressions

  • Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Local resources and where to turn for help

  • And MORE!

 

 

Mental Health First Aid is an 8 hour course by the National Council for Behavioral Health which teaches you how to help people developing a mental illness or in a crisis.

This course addresses:

  • Signs of addictions and mental illnesses

  • 5-Step action plan to assess a situation and help

  • Impact of mental and substance use disorders

  • Local resources and where to turn for help
