Yolanda Lewis-Harris, LPC, CACIII, CCBT, EMDR Tr. 

CEO/ Mental Health Therapist

Yolanda Lewis-Harris is the CEO and Owner of Empowering Minds Nurturing Souls Corporation.  She is also the Director of the Student Counseling and Resource Center at Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC).  She has been with PPCC for four years.  Prior to joining PPCC, Yolanda worked as a Social Worker for over 24 years in the State of Texas, Wyoming, California, and Colorado with the Department of Human Services, Rape Crisis Center and Catholic Charities.  She started her private counseling practice in 2006 in Colorado Springs helping people in the community with mental health issues, career change and life adjustment issues. Yolanda graduated from Texas Women's University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work.  She received her Master in Clinical Counseling from University of Northern Colorado in 2003.  Yolanda is a licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, an Addiction Counselor Level III and EMDR Trained.  Yolanda has also supervised student interns from varies Universities in the social work and in the counseling field.  She is a member of the Signature Leadership Pikes Peak.  Yolanda serves on the YMCA Southeast Branch and Mission Medical advisory boards.

Yolanda has volunteered in all four stated she resided.  She volunteered in the school systems, Girl Scouts troops, homeless shelters, Rape Crisis Centers, and numerous community events.  She also volunteered on the military bases helping families with food and clothing.  

Yolanda is a wife and mother of two beautiful young ladies.  Her husband is a retired Major from the United States Air Force.
